When the SPR/Mk12 was developed, NSWC Crane included bore guides as a cleaning accessory with every kit. Since they were never produced commerically, an original bore guide is one of the hardest pieces to find to truly complete a deployment kit. Desinged using an original part as a reference, these repoductios are machined 100% to match, using the same dimensions, finish and materials. Turned from solid aluminum, these come with black anodizing and o-rings installed, available with or without the part number engraved.

Instructions: The bore guide is installed through the back of any standard AR-15 upper receiver and is used to centralize and stabilize a cleaning rod. This prevents damage to the chamber, throat and bore of your barrel in order to help maintain accuracy. When inserting into the back of the receiver, align the port on the side of the guide with the ejection port of the receiver. This will allow you to add oil/solvent to the cleaning rod without having to fully remove it. Once fully inserted, a .22 caliber cleaning rod can be run through the guide from the chamber towards the muzzle for cleaning.
NOTE: The engraving has been paint filled in the photos. Engraving is done pre-anodizing and will not appear white when delivered.
